One - Week 2: Conflict
- What stood out to you most from the sermon, and why do you think it caught your attention?
- Reread John 17 together. What parts of Jesus prayer challenged you?
- Conflict is a way in which oneness can be fractured. How well do you feel like you handle conflict?
- What is your default when dealing with conflict? Do you run towards it or run away from it?
- If it’s true that “distance demonizes” - what are some ways we tend to keep our distance with others?
- Reread Matthew 18:15. What part of dealing with someone missing the mark with you do you have the hardest time with?
- When we fail to deal with conflict like Jesus is calling us to, we often slip into gossip. How have you seen gossip negatively affect community and oneness?
- Share with one another ways in which you can be praying for each other this week.
