New Service Time Starting October 19th!

Just a few weeks ago, we wrapped up our summer teaching with a series called “Set”. During the series we talked about the value of making room at the table – in other words, making our church as safe, inviting, open, and hospitable to guests as possible. In exploring every avenue that we could to improve our offerings as a church, with a focus on opening up more opportunities to invite everyone everywhere to life in Christ, our leadership has decided to expand our worship services.

Beginning on Sunday October 19th, Mission Point will add a 7pm evening service to our weekly service opportunities.  This evening service will happen in addition to our two regular 9:00am and 10:40am services.  Our desire is to have the evening service look and feel just like the Sunday morning services.*

While we have experienced some exciting growth this Fall, the heart of this additional service is not about numbers or a desire to “get bigger”. The hope in creating a 7pm services is that we will have the opportunity to connect with people we previously have not been able to reach. We consistently hear from people in our community that would love to join us but their job requires them to work hours that make Sunday mornings difficult to attend.  We hope and pray this removes another barrier for some people to connect with Jesus. We cannot express enough how much we appreciate all that you are doing to share Christ with the people around you, and we sincerely hope that this opportunity creates more space for God to connect people in our community to Him!

Please join me in inviting your friends and family to join us for worship at 9:00am, 10:40am, or 7:00pm starting on October 19th!

* – We will not be offering KidzPoint or any childcare on Sunday evenings.  We are also planning several weekends in the coming months (Thanksgiving, December 21st and December 28th) where our Sunday night service will be invited to join our morning services.
