Ashley Osborn

Ashley OsbornMiddle School Girls Small Group Leader
Why you are passionate about student ministry:
I love getting to love up on the students and tell them about Jesus! I think it is so important to instill God’s grace and love in them at a young age, so that they can have a better idea of who they are and what their purpose is. I believe this topic is at the base of why middle school/high school can be so hard: you are trying to figure out who you are and where you fit in, and though you feel alone, most everyone else is going through somewhat of the same thing.
One thing you wish you knew as a teen:
Someone else my age has or is thinking, believing, and/or feeling the same way I am, no matter what the topic is, so I’m not alone.
Your favorite type of food and why:
Ice cream; it fits my every mood!
Your favorite TV show as a kid:
I don’t think I got into watching much TV because we didn’t have cable, but when I had access to cable, I loved to watch the Disney Channel!

Joanna Taylor

Joanna TaylorHigh School Small Group Leader
Why you are passionate about student ministry:
Growing up can be really hard and to have a safe place to feel the freedom to ask hard and trivial questions can be just what you need at that age. I know that the end of high school was when I decided why I truly wanted to follow Jesus for myself and the adults that surrounded me with encouragement at that time were a huge reason why I am where I am today. I want students to know that while life can and will get harder as they grow up, having people to push you and pray for you are crucial to doing well through the hard times.

Either sushi or cheese, but never together. Sushi because I love the variety and freshness you can get in each bite and cheese because I have grown up traveling which allowed me to try the best of the best
