SERVE Opportunities
The following are ways for volunteers at Mission Point to serve. Some of these opportunities are occasional or one time needs, while others are more of weekly or monthly opportunities. We are so thankful for the various gifts God has given each believer! Mission Point is blessed by and dependent upon every person in the family of God using his or her gifts!
HOSPITALITY
Serve with the Red Team, to greet guests at worship services.
Assist the hospitality team with special events, like receptions after the services.

KIDZPOINT VOLUNTEER
Serve in one of the KidzPoint classrooms (nursery, 2s&3s, Pre-K, Kindergarten-1st Grade, 2nd-4th Grade) in a monthly rotation for the Morning Service OR in the Evening Service nursery.

KIDZPOINT VOLUNTEER – Special Projects
Assist with special projects in the KidzPoint Department. This could range from sending out birthday cards to KP students, to helping plan our special event nights (like Kidz Karnival) or to sorting nursery toys quarterly.

KIDZ CARE
Provide childcare for special groups that meet during the week, such as our single mom’s ministry, Together, or our restoration group, COR.
These particular groups meet on Monday evenings.

MISSION & MESSAGE RESEARCH
Gather helpful/meaningful facts, statistics, quotes, word studies, etc. for sermons.
Maintain a consistent global awareness: news blurbs, featured unreached people groups, stories of the persecuted locally, nationally & globally.

MISSION ASSISTANT
Assist with preparation and implementation of any of our upcoming mission events (Blood Drive, Garage Sale, Oil Change, Heartline Walk for Life, Supermarket Sweep).

MP STUDENT PARTNER
Help Volunteer on Monday nights.
Assist with Twitter updates, Facebook posts and general communication.
Attend students’ extracurricular activities to support them during the week.

PAPER CREATION ASSISTANT
Assist the staff in preparing materials (printing handouts, cutting visitor cards, Welcome bags, etc.)
Possibly help with the creation of new materials.

SET UP & TEAR DOWN
Assist in the morning set up and/or evening tear down in a Sunday rotation.

STORE MANAGER ASSISTANT
Mission Point will be opening a store in which profits go to missional needs. When the store opens, it will be open a couple times a month. This individual would be available to take care of miscellaneous tasks as directed by the store manager:
Maintain website and social media presence, make phone calls, run errands, operate the register, etc.

TECH ASSISTANT
Participate in Set Up & Tear Down rotation.
Assist with basic sound, lighting, and video needs.

TOGETHER
Together is a Mission Point ministry which aims to come alongside of single moms and their kids. In many cases, single moms can use some extra help and encouragement. If you would like to provide support and encouragement to these moms, please contact us.

VIDEO EDITING ASSISTANT
Create video clips to be used online and in social media forums.
Take weekly sermon videos and make smaller clips of main ideas.
Assist in video recording for Sundays.
Create videos for particular needs as they arise.

WORSHIP ASSISTANT
Enter worship schedules, song lists and other data into an online planning program.
Print weekly chord charts for the band.
Assist with creating weekly worship slide shows in ProPresenter.
