We would love to have you connect at Mission Point! Whether you try our Contact Events (one time events), our Connection Groups (groups that meet for 4-10 weeks) or one of our Missional Communities (which meet year long), it is our desire to provide ways for you to connect to others in the Mission Point Family and to Jesus Christ.
101 – Contact Events
One Time Events
Next Steps is a brief 15-minute gathering offered approximately once a month following each of our worship services. This venue provides you with an opportunity to meet a staff person, learn more about Mission Point, and ask questions you may have. Children may remain in their classes during this extended time. Next Steps meets in the Connection Room (see back of worship card to view on map). We invite you to join us on February 11th for our upcoming Next Steps!
201 – Connection Groups
4-10 week groups
“Introduction to Spiritual Warfare” -What is spiritual warfare? Who should engage in it and how? What kind of training do we need to deal with the evil one’s plans against God’s people? What is a biblical worldview and do I have one? The good news is that victory is a sure thing when you know who God is and who you are in Christ! We will use *The Beginner’s Guide to Spiritual Warfare* by Neil Anderson and Timothy Warner to guide us in our discussions. This Connection Group will be hosted by Stan and Jeri Hepler. This group will meet on Sundays from January 28 – March 25 during the 10:45am service at Mission Point. Click here to register for “Introduction to Spiritual Warfare” group.
“Marriage”– Elder Mike and wife Myra Taylor, who had been married 36 years, will lead this five-week discussion on God’s heart for marriage. Whether you are single, dating, engaged, or already married— come and join in on the discussion! This group will meet Sunday mornings from February 18- March 18 during the 9:00am service in the Connection Room. Click here to register for “Marriage” group.
“The Quest” Women’s Group – In this six-week study, we will go through Beth Moore’s The Quest. We will be studying questions in Scripture to lead us into intimacy with God. Learn to dig into the Word, to respond to the questions of God, and to bring your questions before Him. We will spend time:
- Learning to pray to promote intimacy with God.
- Exploring questions and responses from the Bible.
- Tracking your quest by journaling along the way.
- Learning to read and respond to Scripture.
