SUNDAY MORNINGS
KidzPoint is for infants through 4th graders. KidzPoint meets from 10-11:30am at Lakeland Christian Academy at the same time as the morning Mission Point service.
In the same way we believe the adults at Mission Point live life in three circles, we believe the children of Mission Point live life in three circles as well. In our Sunday evening program we hope to mirror our adult ministry philosophy by providing our children with various ways of learning and interacting with one another.
First Circle – Big Group Gathering
Each week, children gather in their individual classroom time in which a lesson from God’s Word is shared and discussed. A couple Sundays a month, children ages 4-4th grade will gather for a time of corporate worship.
Second Circle – Small Group Gathering
Through crafts and games with their classmates, KP children have an opportunity to apply the Word they heard in their lesson and to encourage with one another during everyday activities.
Third Circle – People I Can Influence
Our desire is for the truths of the lessons each Sunday to be applied to real life during the week! So whether it is being kind to a sibling, befriending someone alone at recess, or being respectful of a teacher, we regularly discuss how to honor God in our weekly experiences outside of KP.
Children are always welcome to bring friends to KidzPoint! A couple times throughout the year we identify particular big events or evenings to bring someone from their “3rd Circle” to KP. These events are special opportunities to not only have fun but for newcomers to encounter the love of Jesus!
