Dear Mission Point Family,
Mission Point is preparing to make a big step this coming January. We cannot express enough how excited we are to let you know that we are planning to launch a Sunday morning service! The first Sunday AM service will take place on January 6th, at 10am, and will happen in addition to our normal 6pm service!
We strongly believe that this is the direction the Lord is leading us. We are excited to see Him continue to grow our church family and its impact in this community and world. Our continued desire is to see the lost come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. And we want to make room for as many people as possible to join us in this eternal quest.
We believe the addition of another service is a great strategic next step to move us towards that end. For almost a year, we have felt as a leadership team that this was a move we would make in the future, and we believe that this is the timing God has for us. Within the last month we saw our most attended service to date which gave us cause to celebrate and anticipate. With this continued growth, it has become clear that we need to proactively consider a second service to create more room in our house for our growing family and a greater impact.
The biggest change that this addition will bring is with KidzPoint. Our KidzPoint leadership has created a plan for us to add this service as effectively as possible. We will be moving our entire current KidzPoint ministry, infant through 6th grade, to Sunday MORNINGS. We will also be offering an infant through 3 year old nursery on Sunday evenings. After January, we will re-evaluate what is happening in the evenings, and respond as necessary. This addition creates an immediate need for more volunteers in KidzPoint.
