Pastor Kondo Simfukwe
As Lead Pastor, Kondo is charged with setting the vision and direction for the believers of Mission Point Community Church, to increase their knowledge and love of Jesus Christ and to equip them to more purposely live His mission to bring relief and restoration to this city, this nation and this world. As a pastor, Kondo is committed to helping people see Jesus as worth more than all. He also enjoys working with people in the church to see them thrive in the areas of their giftedness. Kondo has been blessed to serve the Church since his college days and regularly has the honor to speak at Grace College, other churches, and conferences. Kondo was born in London, raised in Lusaka, Zambia, lived his high school years in Sydney, Australia and then came to the United States for college. He holds a BA in Biblical Studies and a Masters of Divinity in Counseling from Grace College and Theological Seminary. While at Grace, he met and married his wife of thirteen years, Melissa. Kondo and Melissa have two children, Judah, nine, and Jael, seven. Kondo prides himself on usually winning card games when playing with his kids. He also loves playing and watching tennis and enjoys running on the world famous Winona Lake Trails.
Pastor Abraham Hepler
Abe serves as the Executive Pastor of Mission Point. He is responsible for the overall leadership and direction of church staff and departments, leading all functional areas in the accomplishment of the church’s mission as set by the Lead Pastor. His oversight includes Outreach involvement, Student and Children’s Ministry areas as well as Strategic Planning, Finance, Administration, Human Resources and Operations. Abe, a Warsaw native, has spent seventeen years in full time ministry, twelve of those years being in church ministry. He earned a BA in Biblical Studies with a minor in Ancient Hebrew from Grace College. Abe is completing a Master of Arts in Exegetical Studies. He also holds the rank of 2nd Kyu in the Bujinkan, a traditional Japanese Martial Art System. For the last year, Abe has been working with an organization to fight human trafficking and child slavery. Abe and his wife Chandra, also from Warsaw, have five-year old twins, A.J. and Ellie, and recently welcomed baby daughter Eden into their family. He enjoys shooting, playing with the kids and watching Chandra coach volleyball.
Emily Hoover
As the Administrative Coordinator, Emily is responsible to oversee and coordinate the day to day and week to week administrative tasks of Mission Point Community Church and provides administrative support to Pastor Kondo and Pastor Abe. She also serves as the KidzPoint Family Coordinator, connecting with parents and attending to the needs of families at Mission Point. She enjoys providing pathways for the staff to work most efficiently, enabling essential energies to be poured into the sharing of His Word, the encouragement of His people and demonstrating His truth and love to the lost. An east coast gal, Emily spent most of her growing up years in Syracuse, NY. She earned a BA from Taylor University, majoring in Communication Studies and minoring in Christian Education. Since graduating, Emily has focused her passion for people and ministry in positions of college student development, education and church ministries. She loves spending time talking with friends over a cup of tea, the company of her book club, supporting the Grace Women’s Soccer Team and keeping in touch with friends and family back east. Emily is married to her high school sweetheart, Jon, and they have a four-year old son, Alexander.

Jamie Koser
Mission Point’s Mission Coordinator, Jamie Koser, plans, coordinates, and oversees outreach activities that impact the city, nation, and world. As the coordinator she focuses on the third circle (People I Can Influence), and seeks to create opportunities that allow the people of Mission Point Community Church to continue to impact the world with the message of Jesus Christ. In addition to directing Mission, Jamie and her husband Gabe are living the mission in MP’s home at the Fairlane neighborhood (Winona Lake). They are building relationships and sharing the love of Jesus Christ with the children and families of their neighborhood. Jamie, a local of Winona Lake, is compassionate for those who are hurting physically and spiritually. She earned a BS in Nursing from Cedarville University and is a Registered Nurse. Jamie also works part time as an RN for Heartline Pregnancy Center in Warsaw. Jamie finds working on staff at MP so much different from nursing but loves seeing the people of Mission Point take God’s call to advance His Kingdom seriously. “I love breathing life into unique and solid ministry ideas.” Jamie has a variety of experiences as a volunteer in church ministries and has traveled on mission to Florida, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Haiti, Bahamas and Zimbabwe. She loves time with her hubby Gabe and her family, eating a good pizza or donut, shopping at IKEA and learning new things like Spanish and the art of bonsai.

Carly Morales
Director of Kidzpoint, Carly Morales, directs the curriculum, programs and personnel of KidzPoint Children’s Ministry at Mission Point in order to fulfill the vision of children learning to more passionately love the person of Jesus Christ and more purposely live His mission in their families, with their friends and in their world. Carly strives to create an environment in which Mission Point families feel welcomed and safe for their children to learn, worship and have fun. Carly served in KidzPoint as a volunteer since its start in January of 2011. She has ten years of experience in children’s ministries, from nursery to Vacation Bible School, to Sunday School teacher to Awana leader. Carly says, “I love all things kids – simple Bible lessons, glitter-glue projects, freeze tag. I love that I get to step into a child’s shoes and try to see Jesus and church and faith the way they would, and then form lessons that will be equip them to understand the love of Christ. I love the honor of getting to partner with families in teaching their little ones about the love of God. “ Carly has a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Grace College. In her spare time, Carly loves to make things…cookies, jewelry, curtains, purses and casseroles! Carly and her husband, Paul, have two furry children, Sierra (husky-lab) and Kona (German Shepherd-Malamute).
